Read this really great post from @ezellwrites over on Micro.blog:

Sometimes people crack a little bit. They don’t fall apart. They develop a fissure out of which might fall their ambition, motivation, or even some part of their personality. Our society does a horrible job of helping to repair these cracks.

As someone who battles anxiety and sometimes depression, I felt this in my core. Society was already taking a toll on people’s mental health even before the pandemic, and sadly it’s only gotten worse. We need to make every effort to fix the weak points in the foundation of our society, otherwise these cracks are only going to get bigger.
