writing is a form of meditation,
subtle clicking of the keys,
peaceful scratches of pen on paper,
sounds that mask our stray thoughts
while allowing our stories to be made manifest.
prose that can bare our souls
like wearing our hearts on our sleeve.
unobstructed views of our most vivid thoughts
and deepest inspirations,
words are the brightest sunshine
illuminating the beauty that lies within
the still night of our mind.
as unique as the stars themselves,
glimmering jewels in a cold vast cosmos.
like our stellar siblings we each tell our own story,
sharing our wisdom and memories through writing;
immortal.
omnipotent.
for though the stars will fade
the light of our words will shine forever.
